Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data Skipout collects, how it's used, and what rights you have. The short version: we collect almost nothing, and what we do collect stays on your device.
Skipout stores all of your data — your name, funds, skips, streak, and settings — locally on your device using your phone's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server.
We do not collect personal information. We do not have accounts. We do not have a backend database. There is no Skipout server storing your data anywhere.
Skipout does not collect, store, or transmit: your name, your financial information, your bank details, your location, your contacts, your browsing history, device identifiers, or any other personal information.
If you grant permission, Skipout sends local push notifications to remind you to log skips, protect your streak, and prompt you to transfer your savings. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device — no notification data is sent to any server.
Skipout uses Expo (expo.dev) to deliver the app. Expo may collect anonymous crash reports and usage diagnostics to help improve app stability. This data is anonymized and not linked to you personally. You can review Expo's privacy policy at expo.dev/privacy.
Since all data is stored on your device, you can delete all Skipout data at any time by going to Settings within the app and tapping "Reset all data." Deleting the app from your phone also removes all associated data.
Skipout does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no social features that would put children at risk.
If this privacy policy changes, we will update the date below and post the new policy at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
